$100,000 Powerball Prize won in Minot
MINOT -- A Powerball player won Saturday night's draw of $100,000 in Minot.
The lucky numbers were 28, 36, 41, 51, 58 and the Powerball number was 24.
The ticket was sold at Superpumper #32 off Highway 2 in Minot. According to the press release, the prize was $50,000, but since the player purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $100,000.
No one has yet contacted the Lottery office to claim the prize.
"We are extremely excited here at the Lottery office," said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery, in the release. "What a great way for a North Dakota Powerball player to end the 2017 year and ring in the New Year with a six-figure win."
Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, Jan. 3 draw is $440 million.
