Airplane without landing gear lands, no injuries, at Fargo airport
FARGO -- A small aircraft with four people aboard landed without injuries after the landing gear failed to deploy.
The landing was at about 5:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, at Hector International Airport.
There were no injuries and there was no fire or fuel leaks, said Battalion Chief Lee Soeth of the Fargo Fire Department, which responded to the emergency landing.
Emergency crews were standing by, alerted that the small aircraft was coming with landing “wheels up.” “They just put it down,” Soeth said, referring to the safe landing.
