Car smashes into Cass County Annex building

UPDATED STORY:

Fargo, N.D. (WDAY-TV) - A woman delivering Christmas cookies had an unfortunate accident when she crashed into the Cass County Annex building.

Around 1 P.M. Wednesday afternoon, a woman was going to the annex building to drop off treats to former coworkers.

When she parked her car, she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

She hit three parked cars before crashing into the building.

She is said to be okay, but the building sustained about $10,000 in damage.

The woman was issued a ticket for failure to have her car under control.

Her car is considered a total loss.

Fargo, N.D. (WDAY-TV) - Fargo police are looking into an incident at the Cass County Annex Wednesday afternoon after a car ran into the building and other vehicles in the lot.

The building is located just off 10th Street and 2nd Avenue South.

There is a report of one minor injury.

It's unclear if the crash was a medical situation or driver error.

Police, fire crews and ambulance are on scene.
