FARGO—More than 1,000 people can now boast the title of "graduate" at NDSU.

Friday was Winter Commencement at the University.

Out of the 1,072; 657 students walked across that stage.

Which was an increase of 23-percent compared to last year's ceremony.

For some of these "brand new adults" they already have their eyes on the next step.

"It feels amazing. I've been waiting for this moment for 4.5 years. This is the largest fall graduating class from NDSU in all of its history. That's really cool to be a part of," said Mike Hilden, Graduate.

Commencement also featured a commissioning ceremony for graduating ROTC students.
