Man sentenced for robbing Fargo convenience store with stick
FARGO — A 21-year-old man pleaded guilty in Cass County District Court on Monday, Dec. 11, to a felony robbery charge stemming from a holdup at a convenience store in September.
Lucas R. Kulberg was then sentenced to 18 months behind bars with credit given for 93 days already served.
The case stems from Sept. 11, when police were called to a holdup alarm at the Simonson Station Store, 3810 Main Ave., after a man entered the store with a large stick and demanded cigarettes.
The robber, identified in court papers as Kulberg, left the store before police arrived, but he was later arrested.
