WEST FARGO—It was a look back in time in West Fargo this afternoon, as hundreds of people took the time out this morning to check out Christmas on the Prairie at Bonanzaville.

Kids were able to decorate cookies, do crafts, and enjoy some carriage rides.

Santa was even around to take pictures with the kids.

Organizers say it's a way to have a family-friendly event.

"We feel at Christmas time, it's a good time for families to reconnect and get together," said Missy Warren, Bonanzaville.

Bonanzaville is open seven days a week.
