HARWOOD, ND-- Police were called to a home where threats were being made by a man at 1 a.m. on Tuesday at 9211 56th Ave N in Harwood. That's near the Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church.

A perimeter was set up and a Code Red was issued by police for the neighborhood. Residents were told to stay in their homes.

57-year-old Steven Sorenson of Harwood initially wanted to speak with police about an incident that happened earlier in the night at a West Fargo bar.

At 1:30 a.m. Cass County Sheriff's Office reported hearing six to seven gunshots at the home. Authorities did not enter the house at that time and about ten minutes later heard more gunshots.

Police were able to gain entry to the home and Sorenson was arrested just before 4:45 a.m and taken to the Cass County Jail. He's facing felony charges of criminal reckless endangerment and felony terrorizing.

The Code Red was lifted around 5:45 a.m. and no one was hurt.
