FARGO—The Habitat for Humanity home up in downtown Fargo had the power of "Blue" Monday.

Twenty-four officers with the Fargo Police Department volunteered to help insulate and side the home.

The home sits on the same area where Jason Moszer was shot and killed just over a year ago.

The Schumacher house was torn down and now Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is putting up a house for the Danielle John family.

Many of Moszer's fellow officers, Chief Dave Todd and Moszer's father, Dave, all helped in the build Monday.

"Feels good, feels really good, glad we can help someone out, and have something good out of a tragic event," said Dave Moszer.

Once this work is completed, much of the inside and detail work begins.

The house should be ready for the family by the first of the year.
