Free technology workshops for seniors set for Oct. 24-25
FARGO — AARP North Dakota will host a series of free hands-on technology workshops designed to help people ages 50 and older leverage technology to enrich their lives and maximize their use of tablets and smartphones.
The workshops will take place Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the downtown Fargo Public Library and Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
Four different sessions are being offered at each location: Intro to iPad Beginner Workshop from 9-10:30 a.m.; Beyond the Basics iPad Intermediate Workshop from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Sharing Safely on Facebook iPad Intermediate Workshop from 1:30-2:30 p.m.; and Online Safety iPad Beginner Workshop from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Touchscreen tablets will be provided for practice.
