Minnesota State Patrol seeks help in finding vehicle from August hit-and-run
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday, Aug. 22.
The hit-and-run occurred on Interstate 94 between midnight and 12:30 a.m., just west of the exit for Brandon, which is about 35 miles southeast of Fergus Falls, the patrol said in a news release Tuesday, Sept. 26.
The hit-and-run was in an active construction zone when it struck a pedestrian believed to have been walking east in the eastbound traffic lane or shoulder, the patrol said.
The patrol added that it’s possible the vehicle has damage to the front passenger side mirror area.
