Local teen's "Milk Run" raises money for area students, Honor Flight vets
FARGO—Two veterans are headed on our next Honor Flight, and children in metro area schools will get milk in their tummies, all thanks to an area teen.
Once again 15-year-old Haley Dellaneva's "Milk Run" has raised $33,000 for students in area schools who are in the free or reduced meal program.
The money comes from volunteer motorcycle fundraisers in our region.
She started this six years ago and has raised more than $100,000.
Her milk money donated to area school leaders Thursday will help nearly 10,000 students in the metro.
"I just like helping people and inspire them and never give up on dreams, just keep pushing," said Dellaneva.
Haley also raised $1,400 so that she can help send to Vets on Honor Flight.
