Man, 27, dies in crash in northeast SD
GRENVILLE, S.D. – A 27-year-old man died Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash east of Grenville in northeast South Dakota.
The name of the person is not being released pending notification of family. He was the only person involved.
A 2008 Mercury Sable was eastbound when the driver lost control about 7:15 a.m. six miles east of Grenville, which is about 30 miles southwest of Sisseton.
The vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled several times.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
