Alzheimer's events at Touchmark June 21
FARGO — Touchmark at Harwood Groves is hosting a number of Alzheimer's disease-related events on Wednesday, June 21. The day, which is the summer solstice, is known as "The Longest Day" in the Alzheimer's community because "for those living with the disease, every day can feel like the longest day," Touchmark said in a news release.
The free events will take place at Touchmark, 1200 Harwood Drive S., and include:
• Ride the NuStep recumbent cross trainer to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association, $1 per minute.
• Sunrise yoga at 5:33 a.m., followed by a breakfast bar.
• Presentation on preventing Alzheimer's disease, 10 a.m., by Wendy Schrag, Touchmark's vice president of clinical services.
