Hundreds of fathers celebrated at Red River Zoo Sunday
FARGO—Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!
The Red River Zoo gave families lasting memories by treating father's to free admission, on Sunday.
The zoo was packed out as visitors spotted the animals and kids climbed around the playground.
It was a proud moment for the Pallas cat parents, as people watched their rare kittens play.
Zookeepers also provided demonstrations to educate the public on endangered species.
For some dad's, it was their very first visit to the zoo.
"I've got my son and daughter-in-law with me today, so yeah, and anyway, yeah we are just out here on a family gathering to come out and see the zoo," said Lyle and Gayle Planteen, Fargo.
Zookeepers say hundreds of families came out for the event.
