MOORHEAD—An area family is one step closer to having their first home.

Anthony and Angela Hagen were able to help raise the wall on their Habitat home going up in South Moorhead.

The family of five hopes to be in the home later this summer.

Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity Volunteer work started in May.

The Hagen family of five will each contribute 250-hours of work on the house, and also pay for the house, like any homeowner.

"I am so excited to see the memories, a new chapter," Angela says.

This will be the 56th Habitat home in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
