FARGO—NDSU students showcased their robots and self-driving cars Monday after working on them all semester.

Students from PhD candidates to undergrads have developed a variety of products.

Some are self-driving cars, others help decipher emotions using computer software.

Professors in charge of the class were excited the students put their heads together and hope it will inspire them in the future.

"I think the best thing is also the excitement level of the students. You see a lot of people around the room that look excited that are working with their different projects here. And there are things that they are really proud of because they've spent a lot of time and have a lot of great results to show from it," says Jeremy Straub, Computer Science Professor NDSU.

It took about four months for groups to develop the projects.
