WYOMING, Minn. - The city of Wyoming, Minnesota has a population of just under 8,000 residents, but the Twitter account of the Wyoming Police Department? That is reaching tens of thousands of people after a viral tweet this morning.

April 20 is the much anticipated "holiday" for marijuana users.

Shortly after 5 a.m. on Thursday, the Wyoming Police Department tweeted a comical picture "Undercover #420 operations are in place. Discreet traps have been set up throughout the city today. #Happy420" The scene is set with chips, video games and pop in the foreground with a police officer looming in the background with a net.

This is not the first time a tweet has gone viral for the Wyoming Police Department. The night of Super Bowl 51 they tweeted, "If you drive drunk tonight we're going to subject you to that Justin Bieber @TMobile Super Bowl Commercial the entire way to jail. #SB51"

That tweet received more than 10,000 retweets and more than 16,000 likes.

Here is a picture of their tweet from last year on April 20th.

Around 9 a.m. the account did take a serious tone saying, "All jokes aside, substance abuse is a real issue. We use tongue in cheek humor to bring attention to those issues."
