Oil could start moving in the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline today.
A federal appeals court denied a request from the Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Sioux tribes for an emergency order to stop the flow.
The tribes fear it could harm their water supply and would desecrate sacred land.
The $3.8 billion pipeline will move oil from North Dakota to Illinois.
Shooting in West Fargo
A man is in jail for attempted murder after a shooting in West Fargo.
The shooting happened a little after midnight Sunday at West Lake Apartments on 33rd Avenue W.
When police arrived on scene, they found the victim in the parking lot.
Officers say she had a gunshot wound when they found her.
After talking to the woman before she was taken to the hospital--Police went into the building and found the suspect, 26-year-old David White Jr. of Illinois on the second floor.
He has been arrested for attempted murder and is in the Cass County Jail.
Police say White and the woman knew each other - but don't know the status of their relationship.
The victim's name and condition are unknown.
BB gun mistaken for handgun
Police surrounded a Moorhead neighborhood after they received a report of a man waving a handgun.
This is where it happened -- off 3rd Street South near Woodlawn park in Moorhead.
While on scene, police found two realistic looking b-b guns.
The man who lives in this home -- 28-year-old Ronald Geri -- says he wasn't waving the gun... and that it was sitting on his porch.
He says he -- his wife and a friend were handcuffed.
The man was given a weapons citation.
