MSUM holds 'Shirt for Shirt' campaign to benefit YWCA
MOORHEAD—We all have too many T-shirts in our closets, but Minnesota State University Moorhead students have found a good use for them.
Dragon Entertainment decided to conduct a "Shirt for Shirt" campaign that benefits the YWCA shelter in Fargo.
Students and anyone in town can drop off gently used T-shirts and in return get a new MSUM shirt.
The collected clothing will be brought to the YWCA so moms and their children have items for immediate and emergency needs.
"I have a drawer that is full of old clothes that I don't wear and I know it, it had to go somewhere and this was a good cause for it," said MSUM senior Taylor Rodriquez.
The gently used T-shirts can be dropped off at MSUM's Dragon Entertainment office through Thursday, March 16.
It's in the lower level of the Student Union.
