Woman stabbed in leg, suspect still on the loose


Fargo, N.D. (WDAY/WDAZ-TV)--A woman was stabbed in the leg after she picked up a stranger in Fargo.

Police say it happened around 1 Sunday morning on the same block as Wells Fargo on Main Avenue.

The 32-year-old woman was flagged down by a Native American man.

He asked for a ride and she let him in her vehicle.

After getting in the car, police say the man became belligerent.

She tried to push him out of her car, and he then stabbed her in the leg.

The woman took herself to an area hospital and is expected to be ok.

The man is described as being between 45 and 50 years old, 5’10”, with glasses and acne scars.
