Dent, MN (WDAY/WDAZ News) - Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer and for some that means the end of business.

Brian Leonard is the owner of East Silent Resort in Dent, Minnesota.

He says business definitely slows down at the end of summer with school starting and weather cooling off.

However he stays open year round, and says winter activities are becoming more popular each year.

"Snow mobilers, we're only five miles from Maplewood State Park. We have a lot of folks that like to go and cross country ski. Areas, such as Detroit Lakes, has a snow ski area now," said Brian Leonard, East Silent Resort Owner.
