Victim's widow: 18-month sentence not enough for fatal punch outside Fargo bar

New 'E-Fargo' game looks to entertain but also talk about energy efficiency

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - You can now win prizes for saving energy in Fargo, through a new game, featuring this purple character.

The city unveiled it's new "e-fargo" game Monday.

It features a character named "Waste-a-Watt" - who thrives off of wasted energy.

To defeat him, you must complete a number of energy saving tasks.

Right now, the city is in fourth place for the Georgetown University Energy Prize, which would be $5,000,000.

They hope the app will gain traction and give them a boost.

"It's cool because it's fun. You know, energy efficiency, when you start talking about it to people, their eyes glaze over. So we thought why not do it like a fun game?” said game designer Malina Srivastava.

Prizes will be given out every week with a grand prize on April 23rd.
