Frisco, TX (WDAY TV) - There's just one day left on NDSU's Drive for Five and it's the biggest one of all.

Friday night fans in Frisco celebrated the champs with the NDSU Alumni Association's pep fest.

It wrapped up 90 minutes ago.

It was loud and the Herd was proud. 5,000 tickets were pre-sold to the Drive for Five Stampede.

Every facet of the event seemed to be aimed at energizing the crowd.

They listened to popular Bison tunes, such as Thunderstruck and Welcome to the Jungle.

University officials and now pro former players addressed the fans.

The Gold Star Marching Band, Bison Art Singers and video montages also pitched in to fuel the fervor.

We figured it would be a good time to ask the fans for score predictions for tomorrow's game.

Wouldn't you know it—not one of them picked against the Green and Gold.

"So, it's going to be 31 nothing at halftime. And then, there might not be any more touchdowns after that. And it doesn't matter."

"I'm going to say 38-12."

"35-28."

"Like, ten points?"

Yeah. Like, maybe like, 4?"

It does raise a great question, if they win and this is the Drive for Five, what does that make next year?

How about, Fixin' for a Sixin'.

I joined the WDAY 6 news team in September of 2013 as a weekend anchor and reporter. I am currently the Assitant News Director and 5p.m. anchor. Previous to arriving in the F-M area, I worked as a broadcast journalist at the CBS affiliate (KTVQ) in Billings, Montana (sidenote: my hometown). I have worn many hats in my young broadcast career as an anchor, reporter, producer, sports producer and online producer. However, my favorite role to play is storyteller. Off the clock (are we ever really off the clock?) I enjoy taking in a sporting event on TV or in person. On the professional level, I root for Seattle teams. As a graduate of the University of Montana, I also enjoys FCS football (but forgive my allegiance). I also enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to good music and frolicking in the outdoors. I enjoy those things all the more when I can do them with my wife and our daughter. If you have a story idea for me, or just want to say hello, you can send me an email!
