A Subway restaurant in Anchorage remains closed, after police say a naked woman goes on a destructive rampage.

With a 10-thousand dollar bail and facing multiple charges, 35-year-old Anchorage local Nikki Abrell is now clothed, after going on a naked rampage in a Subway restaurant.

Renee Oistad, Anchorage Police Dept.Spokesperson: "We often receive reports of folks that are either on alcohol or drugs or both, who are acting erratically. In this case, the woman just happened to cause a whole lot of damage in a very public place. So it garnered more attention."

7:30 Tuesday night, police received a call from employees that a female locked herself in the bathroom, refusing to come out.

Hours later she did finally did what she was told and opened the doors. But completely naked, and extremely violent.

Renee Oistad: "Early estimates were that she caused approximately 20 thousand dollars worth of damage. She overturned several tables and chairs, ripped signs from the walls and the ceilings, destroyed the refrigerator, a toilet, and also let off a fire extinguisher."

One witness to the scene told us "I really didn't want to get anywhere near her. She was smearing feces all over stuff."

Officers took her into custody and transported her to the hospital for detox.

The Anchorage Police Department says although her actions suggest she was on drugs, they've not yet validated what substances were possibly in her system.
