Lemonade and Cupcake Stand To Raise Funds for Sunshine Foundation

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY-TV) - Even if there are clouds and rain tomorrow, a lemonade stand will be bringing sunshine.

9-year-old Addie Loerzel of Moorhead is hosting a lemonade and cupcake stand to raise money for the Sunshine Foundation, which grants dream trip to kids with illnesses or abuse backgrounds.

720 cupcakes and 15 of gallons of lemonade are being prepped Monday.

Addie has Spina Bifida and received her Sunshine trip two years ago.

But even before that, she's been trying to make dreams come true.

Addie’s Mom, Marisa Bengtson-Loerzel, says, "She told me, even before then that, 'mom, I want to Last year's stand raised $5000, which is enough to send a child and family on their dream trip.

The stand is Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Edge Fitness in Moorhead.
