Celebrating mothers and their green thumbs in Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) – Some Grand Forks moms celebrated their day by digging in the dirt and planting flowers in their gardens.
About 500 moms flocked to All Seasons Garden for their 20th annual open house.
Some mothers let their kids pick some new greenery to decorate their home's landscape.
It's a day of shopping and celebration for women who deserve a lot of thanks.
“My husband is a farmer so that kind of leaves me by myself with the little,” said Janet Amundson.
“No, I joke in fact with another farmer's wife that we should really have a farmer's mother's day.”
The owners of All Seasons Garden Center started the Mother's Day event after the flood of 1997.
