Losing a hot spot

It was a long, hard night for fire crews in Oakes. Dozens of homes were evacuated as crews battled a massive gas station fire overnight. Around 9:00 Tuesday, a city policeman drove by and saw smoke coming from the back side of the south side Tesoro gas station.

The family of man who went missing near Wadena, Minnesota this week told WDAY-6 News they warned Public Safety officials in St. Paul about David Paulson's Alzheimer's disease and the need to get him off the road. Authorities searched for Paulson earlier this week after he went missing for three days. He got stuck, and was found in the woods suffering from hypothermia.
