The game of pool, or billiards, is something many of us have played at some time in our lives. But recently, I came across a group of ladies on south Fargo who are not only just learning the game, they're loving it!
For the past few months, leaders have been looking at options for permanent flood protection. It's seemed a diversion in North Dakota was the front-runner, at least with the public. But, now the Army Corps of Engineers is leaning toward a Minnesota diversion. We talked with the mayors of Fargo and West Fargo to see what they think about a diversion going across the river.
Ice, blowing and drifting snow, and reduced visibility, less than one mile at times, are causing dangerous road conditions tonight. A travel alert is in place for our North Dakota viewers. In Minnesota and South Dakota, travel is very difficult. As conditions get worse, with plenty of motorists on the roads, authorities are worried about what's to come.

Authorities in eastern Minnesota are looking for the body of a missing snomobiler; Toyota is quickly trying to cut their losses and bolster the company's tarnished image; Los Angeles prosecutors are expected to file criminal charges later today.
A citizen’s board for the Wild Rice River is making a fight for flood control. The group wants to see some sort of water storage built near Twin Valley, to slow down the Wild Rice River. It's proposing creating a 540 acre lake, which would bring other benefits along with flood control.
Two mothers lost too soon are bringing together a group of girls, hoping to bring awareness and a cure to breast cancer. And with the help of a community, and the use of sugary treats, two Grafton High School students are hoping no other little girl will have to go through what they've experienced.
