Hunter, ND (WDAY TV) - Wednesday's Beyond the Game, takes us to Northern Cass High School where the volleyball team is getting ready for its first ever trip to the state tournament.Senior Vanessa Johnson has had a lot to do with the Jags success this season, and overcome some adversity to lead her team to state.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Class A state volleyball tournament appears to be fairly wide open this year. Shanley's the top seed from the East, but the 24-and-8 Davies Eagles have the talent to take home a title.
Hunter, ND (WDAY TV) - It's been a remarkable season for the Northern Cass volleyball team. The Jaguars are going to state for the first time in school history. They have 30 wins and just 4 losses, after beating rival Central Cass in the region one final, a team that'd handed them 3 of their 4 losses this season. So Northern Cass heads to state with a boatload of confidence, and the top seed in the entire tournament.
Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - National Signing Day was a busy one locally; eight different athletes signed letters of intent to play at area schools; including Central Cass' Faith Dooley; one of the most dominant volleyball players in our region, made her commitment official to play at UND.
