Red Wing, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Authorities in Red Wing say 13 people dodged a bullet after ending up in the water after a boat accident last night. Emergency crews pulled 11 adults and 2 children, ages 5 and 10, out of the Mississippi River there. The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office says all 13 were riding on a 45-foot performance boat.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Now that people are enjoying the unofficial start of summer, you may be seeing more boats on the lakes. McLaughlin’s in Fargo says sales are great, either dead even or slightly up. Workers say the economy isn't stopping people from buying, but the flood did during April.
