Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) - A shortage of workers in the energy industry in North Dakota has sparked a big announcement today from the State College of Science in Wahpeton. The National Science Foundation has awarded NDSCS 600-thousand dollars to fund a STEM Scholars program. It's focusing on talented, but financially strapped students.
Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) - In subjects like math and science, students in the U.S. are slowly slipping behind. But in Valley City, educators from across the state are learning new ways to teach. Today was the first of a 3-day Legos Robotics Workshop, designed for teachers in the science, technology, engineering and mechanics or STEM initiative.
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A group of talented West Fargo students has made history. As the youngest team in the Bison Best Robotics Challenge in October, the group took second place.
