Barnesville, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Some home and business owners in Barnesville say they're feeling the pain of an assessment. The city is split in to two districts. One half will pay the Front Street project assessment. The other will pay for another major road project when that time comes, but some people say they didn't have a say and think everyone in the city should foot the bill for a new Front street.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - People protesting special assessment charges for improvements to 25th Street in Fargo are crossing their fingers. Petitions with nearly 500 signatures were turned in this morning at city hall.
