Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The leader behind the world's computer giant Microsoft today heaped praise on the Fargo-Moorhead community and the work ethic here. Steve Ballmer not only came to valley to check out the just completed expansion project. He promised area business leaders Microsoft has plans to grow this campus.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Microsoft says some workers at the company's Fargo plant are losing their jobs in a second round of cuts this year. It says the number is "minimal." Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos says the cuts involve fewer than 2 percent of Microsoft Fargo's roughly 1,000 employees. He said he does not believe Microsoft Fargo's 185,000-square-foot building and expansion project will be affected.
