Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - About a week from now, people in Clay County will be able to have severe weather threats sent right to their cell phone or land line using Code Red. This now means whether you can hear a siren or not, you'll know if severe weather is heading their way.
(WDAY TV) - A follow-up to a story we first brought you. People in Cass County can sign up for another way to get weather warnings as early as next week. Emergency officials got an earful after recent storms, when WDAY confirmed some of it's 27-thousand dollar sirens didn't work, and, that officials say sirens are only meant to be heard outside.
(WDAY TV) - Cass County is testing its Code Red system, just in case it's needed for a Spring flood.
