Lisbon, ND (WDAY TV) - The fate of 17-homes along the Sheyenne River in Lisbon hung in the balance for many weeks, until tonight. The city is looking to buyout those homes for permanent flood protection.
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) – There is surprising and last minute news from the D-N-R for the city of Moorhead today. The city will get another 1-million dollars for flood buyouts. That's on top of the 2-million the city received more than a week ago.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - With the latest flood forecast calling for another spring flood, Fargo city leaders are preparing for the worst, a river that will hit 42 feet or higher. To protect the city at that level, it will take nearly 3 million sandbags.
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) – It was a bittersweet ending for a Moorhead family who battled floods. Their home, along the Red River, is now empty, thanks to a group of friends that helped the family move.
