Physician back at work after assault by patient apparently suffering from mental illness
An emergency room doctor at Essentia Health St. Mary’s was attacked and beaten Saturday morning by a patient who was apparently suffering from mental illness.

A 27-year-old South Dakota man was sentenced Monday to one year and one day in prison for assaulting a Fargo police officer who was preparing to pat him down before his trip to the hospital for detoxification.
Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) - A coordinated effort is underway in the southern valley to better help victims of sexual assault. Agencies in Richland County are putting together a Sexual Assault Response Team. It's made out of local law enforcement, crisis center and health care professionals, and NDSCS campus advocates. They want to take what they call a victim-centered approach.
