Fire education and inspections are credited with reducing deaths
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - It is a trend the state of Minnesota and city of Moorhead hope continues. The number of fire deaths in the state fell this past year to the lowest number on record. 32 deaths in 2009, that is 20-fewer than last year. Years of education and inspections are finally paying off.

Moorhead couple is thankful to be alive
