(WDAY TV) - As if it couldn't get worse for Tiger Woods, he now has an Apple I-Phone application named after him. The program is called "Tiger-Text". It allows people to send messages that will automatically delete, taking away the chance for someone to show it to a media outlet, girlfriend, or someone else you don't want to see it.

Wilkin County begins clearing ditches to help rural drainage Breckenridge, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Wilkin County is spending nearly 900 thousand dollars to clean ditches in hopes of helping the rural drainage. Landowners will pick up part of the tab and they say it's worth the price to lessen overland flooding and lost crops year after year. But communities to the north worry that faster moving water will mean worse flooding downstream.

Police continue to investigate suspicious shooting death Fergus Falls, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Fergus Falls Police and the B-C-A continue to investigate the suspicious death of a 29-year-old woman killed by a gunshot wound. Police say one other person was at the scene when the gun went off, but how it happened or who pulled the trigger isn't known.

Ice build-up on the Red River is causing concern Breckenridge, Minn. (WDAY TV) - People in the southern valley have a potentially dangerous problem staring them down. Ice has built up more than usual on the Red River and its causing concern. Ice chunks can catch on to one another and build up like a wall that can raise the river level 3 to 4 feet in a couple hours.

Counterfeit money surfaces in Fargo FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fargo police are looking into several reports of counterfeit money, and say they have made one arrest. Authorities say there have been eight reports this month of bogus $20, $50 and $100 bills being passed at fast food restaurants, bars and liquor stores.

Medical staff returns home from Haiti

Medical staff returns home from Haiti Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A group of medical staff arrived in Fargo after spending about a week helping children affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Meritcare had a team of four fly down: A family physician, a physical therapist and two nurses. The group worked in Barahona in the Dominican, about 30 miles from Haiti.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo woman is making prom a reality for some teenagers, by collecting dresses for high school girls, who might not otherwise be able to afford the big event. Today, those lucky girls got to pick out, try on, and take home their dresses; a proud moment for them.
