Photo gallery helps children find families
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A photo gallery at the Plains Art Museum tonight is one full of hope and wishes. The second annual North Dakota Heart Gallery is underway at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo. For the past several months, 10-photographers have traveled the state, taking pictures of 25-children who are waiting to be adopted in North Dakota.

New book features ND women with inner beauty

It doesn't feature the badlands or prairie potholes, but women who have changed the communities across this state. It is called Beautiful Women of North Dakota and this weekend at Moorhead’s Rourke Gallery, 22 of them from across the state featured in the book will come to Fargo-Moorhead for a star studded affair.

New apartment building to house the homeless

It is called the Cooper House, a dream of the non-profit group Beyond Shelter. The 4-million dollar complex is expected to take a bite out of a growing problem in Fargo-Moorhead.

The Red River climbs out of its banks in November
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's an odd sight in November; the Red River is climbing out of its banks. Right now, the Red is at 22-feet. Flood stage is 18. The Red will rise to 24-feet by Wednesday night. That is a foot below moderate flood stage. The National Weather Service says there will be just minor flooding along the river.
