Smoke rises from the Norwegian cruise ship, MS Nordlys, one of the classic Hurtigruten ships alongside in Alesund in western Norway, Thursday Sept. 15, 2011 as firefighters and police attend. The Sunnmore police district says that 106 passengers were evacuated into lifeboats before the vessel managed to dock into the port of Alesund. The rest of the passengers and crew were being evacuated. Police said no one was killed but three people were taken to hospital. The fire broke out in the engine room at 9.20 a.m. (0720 GMT).
