Detroit Lakes boys' basketball team making first appearance at state in nearly 100 years

Detroit Lakes, MN (WDAY TV) - The city of Detroit Lakes is not only celebrating an early spring, it is marking the end of a drought. It’s a dry spell that started just as World War One ended. Tomorrow the boys’ basketball team will play in the State Tournament. It’s the first DL appearance in 94 years. Today, the town sent off the team.
