Couple suing over kids' haircuts for drug tests

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A man and woman are suing Traill County Social Services and two social workers, saying their children were wrongfully put in protective custody after getting unauthorized haircuts during a drug probe. Ricky Gonzales and Cassandra Laymon say the county violated their civil rights by cutting the hair of their three children at their school to see if they were exposed to marijuana.
