Jody Norstedt

Jody grew up in Montevideo, MN, and has a degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in communication studies from St. Cloud State University. He joined the WDAY Sports Team in April of 2011. During his time in St. Cloud, he worked at the University TV station (UTVS) as the station's sports director, and the college radio station KVSC as a sports announcer.

He also held the ice-side reporter position for the St. Cloud State men's hockey games broadcast statewide. Jody was hired to the WDAZ Sports Team in June of 2008.

Jody has a passion for sports and enjoys following the Twins, Wild, Vikings, and Timberwolves. He is excited to cover local sports in the Red River Valley.

Peter Cullen becomes head coach of the Moorhead hockey team

St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - There is never a good time to be out of the lineup and to have it happen right now has to drive Moorhead native Matt Cullen crazy. Cullen was injured Monday night in the Wild's loss to the Blues and will be out for the next 2 games. The timing couldn't be worse as the former Spud has been playing some of the best hockey of his career.
