Jody Norstedt

Jody grew up in Montevideo, MN, and has a degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in communication studies from St. Cloud State University. He joined the WDAY Sports Team in April of 2011. During his time in St. Cloud, he worked at the University TV station (UTVS) as the station's sports director, and the college radio station KVSC as a sports announcer.

He also held the ice-side reporter position for the St. Cloud State men's hockey games broadcast statewide. Jody was hired to the WDAZ Sports Team in June of 2008.

Jody has a passion for sports and enjoys following the Twins, Wild, Vikings, and Timberwolves. He is excited to cover local sports in the Red River Valley.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - When sophomore wide receiver Zach Vraa first stepped onto the NDSU campus, the former Mr. Minnesota for football couldn't wait to put on a show inside the FargoDome. Two years and 3 broken collarbones later, he played in his first full game, helping the Bison route Robert Morris on opening night, 52-0.
