Melanie Orlins grew up in Sterling, Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C.While in college, she interned at WCTV, a CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida, Cox Broadcasting, a news bureau in Washington D.C., and Florida Capitol News in Tallahassee. She also reported sports for Sun Sports, and Seminole Sports Television.
Melanie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication Studies from The Florida State University in Tallahassee in 2011.
Melanie is excited to be in Grand Forks and work for WDAZ. She would love to hear about any story ideas you might have.
