Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Students at Fargo North organized a one-stop-shop for all things prom all while helping a good cause.

The DECA club put on its first ever "prom expo," which brought in several vendors and featured a formal wear fashion show.

The proceeds from the event go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help send kids with MD to summer camp.

The students were inspired by local bridal shows.

Addie Long/Organizer: “Just because there are things for brides but prom is such a big deal these days we thought it would be nice. And MDA is such a great organization we thought we would attach them to such a great idea"

Sending each kid to camp costs about $700
