West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The next state tournament up on the docket is hockey, which is full of some terrific storylines. That includes the West Fargo girls, back again to contend for a state crown.

The Packers made the state championship game last year, only to see Bismarck dash their hopes in a 4-0 win. Pat Johnson's team has taken care of business during the regular season with its eye on getting back to the Ralph and making things right in 2014.

Pat Johnson – West Fargo Head Coach: “Every game we have to go out there and prove that we're able to play at a high level and everyone is going to give us their best shot.”

Allison Springer – 42 Points This Year: “We just can't look at any team they're lower than us. We have to make sure we don't stoop down to other people's levels and keep working hard.”

The Packers will face North at 5 pm Thursday at the Olympic Arena.
