Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - We are in the final hour of one the area's biggest annual fundraisers.

Thousands came out to the Fargodome Saturday for the Kiwanis club's 56th annual Pancake Karnival.

The event brings in more than 10,000 people each year.

Hundreds of volunteers make it all run smoothly, but each person that enters the dome helps Kiwanis fund children's programs.

Margie Bailly/Fargo Kiwanian: "They are contributing just being here as a part of a community event, plus their seven dollar ticket pays for all the things we do in the community all year long. We say, we flip pancakes one day a year, and we flip for kids all year long."

The event ends at seven o'clock.
