Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -The Bison men's basketball team returns to the floor tonight in a place where wins have been hard to come by, Macomb, Ill.

NDSU sits in first place in the Summit League by a game over IPFW.

the top spot is even more important in conference play this year, with the number one seed getting a bye and the Bison how far road wins can take you.

“Every game we play is a good primer for us. Right now there is about four different teams we could be seeing in the Summit League tournament so every game right now is a crucial for us.”

“We have two road games left and the last three at home so we just have to go out and take care of business this weekend so we can have a comfortable stretch coming back home. That was what our goals were in the off season, number one team in the conference going into the conference so we can get that bye.”

NDSU hasn't won at Western Illinois since 2009, meanwhile the UND men host Montana State, while the women try to extend their Big Sky lead.

All of those games tonight at 10:20.
