Fargo, N.D. (WDAY TV) -Another year, another postseason run is coming for the Concordia women's basketball team.

Jess Rahman's team won again last night, scoring 51 points in the second half against Carleton to improve to 16-3 on the season and keep their hopes alive for a top seed in the MIAC tournament.

Olivia Johnson, Cobbers senior forward: “We all know our roles on the team and we all play them extremely well. Whether it's a defensive specialist, whether it's a shooter, whether it's what ever, I think we all have embraced those roles and just said you know what I'm going to do my best at this job and this position I'm in, I'm going to do my best and do my best for the team.”

Jessica Rahman, Cobbers head coach: “I think we have a fantastic bench and when they come in man it's just a giant burst of energy and those kids just come after things and get out there and make things happen. Whoever is out there seems to be working well together and that's the mark of really true team.”

The Cobbers host first place St. Thomas in a huge showdown on Saturday.
